Spring of 2024 was very exciting at Premier International Tours! More club and college teams traveled all over Europe: Florence, Rome, Barcelona, London, and Lisbon.

Spring of 2024 was very exciting at Premier International Tours! More club and college teams traveled all over Europe: Florence, Rome, Barcelona, London, and Lisbon. All groups returned satisfied from an exciting Premier International Tours soccer tour.

One of our group leaders commented, “To plan a trip of this magnitude for 44 guests including 16 players can be a logistical nightmare. However, Premier International Tours alleviated any concerns with actions that created a sense of comfort knowing everything will work out as planned. Over 14 months of planning went by quickly and suddenly we are embarking on a trip of a lifetime and affording an opportunity to the youth that can only be dreamt of. We left Rochester, NY as friends and when this trip was over, we left Italy as family. Thank you to the entire team at Premier International Tours. Please realize that help shape youths' minds by providing these opportunities that can seem unobtainable, but in reality are easily achievable”.

Multiple groups stayed in Rome and the Florence area. Their tours included a sightseeing program with visits to major sights like the Colosseum, Stadio Olimpico, the Vatican in Rome, the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Siena and the Leaning Tower in Pisa. These teams also played some competitive games. One group even trained at the Italian Soccer Federation center Coverciano and visited the Serie A game ACF Fiorentina vs. AC Milan.

A very loyal customer/group from Vermont visited Barcelona again. They played some competitive games vs. local teams and a highlight was getting to see the FCB vs. Valencia pro game! Their sightseeing program included visits Tossa de Mar, Girona and of course Barcelona. In Barcelona the group visited the Nou Camp Museum and La Sagrada Familia. We also worked with another group from Vermont - a college team who traveled to Lisbon, Portugal. They played 3 games vs. local women teams, did a community service project and we arranged a clinic with coaches from pro club Sporting Lisbon. The rest of the tour was filled with exciting excursions including a day trip to Sintra, a picturesque Portuguese village, Lisbon, the local beaches of Cascais, George’s Castle, Alfama, the of Tower of Belém and São Jorge Castle, a Moorish castle overlooking the historic center of Lisbon and Tagus River. 

We also worked with the University of Colorado Women’s Soccer team - they traveled to London and Barcelona. We set up 3 competitive games vs. Haringey Women’s 1st Team in England. This team had some English National Team players. In Barcelona they played vs. RCD Espanyol who were just promoted to the highest Spanish pro league division. This competitive game ended in a 1-0 win of the Buffalos. The entire delegation was able to see pro games FC Barcelona vs Rayo Vallecano and the EPL match where Manchester City beat Tottenham Hotspurs for the EPL crown! Of course we arranged an extensive and exciting sightseeing program in London and Barcelona and much more.
