North York Academy Trip to Portugal

North York Academy traveled from Toronto, Canada to Estoril, Portugal with Premier International Tours to enjoy a week-long trip to Portugal while participating in the IberCup Estoril. The U13 boys competed in a deep age group with their group play consisting of teams from Spain, and two from Portugal. The club competed well in their group play placing second and advancing to the Playoff A. The boys won their first playoff game, advancing to the quarterfinals, but unfortunately lost to a tough Spanish team who ultimately won the tournament. We are excited to work with North York Academy again in the future! Bryan Cerqueira and Rachel Kanarek with North York Academy had the following to say about the experience: “We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the IberCup. The accommodations were perfect, the food was great, the guides were fantastic! We loved it and will definitely recommend it other places and plan to attend future tournaments.”
