Eagles SC in Spain!

The Eagles Soccer Club of California traveled with us in early July bringing two teams to the Donosti Cup in San Sebastian, Spain. The U14 Girls were placed in a group with teams from France, Spain, and another US team. The girls played hard in their group play winning one (1) game and playing into the B playoffs. The girls found success in the playoffs but ultimately lost a close match, 3-2, in the semifinals. The U13 Boys group consisted of two (2) teams from Basque Country, Spain, and one (1) teams from Madrid, Spain. The boys found success in their group play winning two (2) games and advancing into the A playoffs. The first playoff match was paired with a tough Basque Country team in a close game resulting in 2-1 loss. The last days the group had time to do various excursions including a tour to Biarritz/France.
