CSA Impact/Cleveland Force traveled to Italy!

The CSA Impact/Cleveland Force traveled with three (3) teams, and families from Cleveland, Ohio to Italy with Premier International Tours to enjoy a 9-day tour of Verona, Montecatini (Florence Area), and Rome. The club begin their time in Italy with visiting the famous city of gondolas built on small islands connected by bridges, the famous Rialto bridge, and the San Marco church and its vibrant plaza in Venice. While in Verona, the club was about to tour San Siro Stadium (home of AC Milan & Inter Milan), compete in their first set of games vs. USD Pianenghese, and have their own training session with two (2) UEFA coaches, Giorgio Scappini & Giordy Gasparini. Next on the tour was Montecatini (Florence area), with some of the sightseeing including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, the Oltrarno, the Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and of course Piazza Michelangelo. While in the area, the club was able to see Coverciano, home of the Italian Football Federation and have a training session. The teams had their second set of games here, playing Giovani Vianova. The last stop on the tour was Rome. The club spent time at the Italian Olympic Training Centre where they had a training session with AS Roma coaches, Valerio Coletta and Simone Formica. Additional Rome sightseeing included a tour of the Vatican Museums, Regio IV Templum Pacis (Temple of Peace), and a tour of the Colosseum. The third and final set of games took place in Rome against ASD Stella Polare.

Director of Marketing & Events, Shaw Abrams, had the following to say about their tour to Italy: “On behalf of the Cleveland Force Soccer Club, what a fantastic trip! We just returned from a 9-day tour with 71 players, parents, and siblings. Between pro club training, local games, vs. similar competition, daily excursions, (this was my second time traveling with PIT) and they always provide an experience that is fun and meaningful to our club teams, families, my own kids, and myself. PIT is very professional and will go the extra mile to enhance their tours. I would strongly recommend Premier International Tours to anyone looking to explore other soccer cultures and connect with soccer people around the world.”
