St. Kates Wildcats returns from Spain!
Coach Campos and his women soccer team traveled last month to Barcelona Spain. Premier International Tours arranged a tour including games vs. top teams of CF Palautordera, UE Santa Perpetua CF and PBB La Roca del Valles. Tour manager Clive took the delegation of St. Catherine University on many tours including sight-seeing of Barcelona covering the bullring, the Gaudi buildings Casa Battlo and the Pedrera, Plaza Francesc Masia, the Olympic park, Las Ramblas and of course a guided tour of Nou Camp, home of FC Barcelona. The team visited as well a game between FC Barcelona vs. BeSoccer Uma Antequera Futsal. After the tour Coach Campos said “The trip was awesome. Our tour manager Clive was great and the team really enjoyed having him around. He was very knowledgeable and gave the team an experience that was more than just a soccer trip. We learned so much about the history of Barcelona and the stories behind the places we visited”.
