Lamoille County High School  Boys Soccer team travelled to Portugal to compete in the IberCup Estori

Last month Lamoille County High School Boys Soccer team traveled to Portugal to compete in the IberCup Estoril. They faced off against a team from France and two teams from Portugal. During their time off the field they took a visit to Sintra where they toured the famous Pena Palace and spent some time at Quinta da Regaleira, which is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. They also had some time in Lisbon where the visited the highest point of the city, which has wonderful views, visited the Belem Tower and Jeronimo Monastery, and took a tour of the Sporting CP stadium. They even got to watch some of the World Cup on a jumbo screen in the Lisbon city center. Apart from all of the great sites they saw they also had some down time in the beautiful city of Cascias and enjoyed a day on the beach. After the tour Angie Faraci – manager of the Lamoille team – mentioned "Premier International Tours was a very friendly, organized and professional group of people to work with. This was my first year working with PIT and I had a million questions that were answered and addressed very quickly. I was impressed with their organization and ease of applicable information for my teams and families. Once on our way to Portugal; the travel documents, tickets, itinerary and details were all taken care of. We loved the tournament and the sights. My teams and families had an amazing cultural experience and played soccer against great competition. My teams will travel again and we will use PIT for all of my future soccer teams. Amazing!"
