Laurel Lions played soccer in Spain!

Laurel Lions are home after spending 10 days in Spain! The Laurel Lions traveled with a U15 boys team this summer. They started their trip off in Barcelona where they took a tour of RCD Espanyol’s training facilities and took a tour of Camp Nou, home of FC Barcelona. After spending a few days in Barcelona, they traveled to San Sebastian where they participated in the Donosti Cup, they went up against teams from France and Spain and advanced to playoff B.

Andrew Banadda, coach for the BU15 Laurel Lions said; "Our Spain trip with Premier International Tours was a top-quality experience for our program. The training facilities we used were excellent and for our players to see Espanyol's training facilities was a great opportunity for them. Our players also toured Camp Nou Stadium. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for our players to participate in the Donosti Cup. The experience exposed them to the global standard of players/teams of their age group. As one of the program leaders, I would comment that the staff at Premier International Tours was exceptional in handling all of our needs pre-trip. They answered numerous questions from our families and dispelled all concerns. The trip went off without a hiccup and we are all grateful for the experience."
