The Chico State University Women Wildcats just returned from a very successful tour to Trinidad. After the tour Head Coach Kim Sutton stated “This was our first foreign team tour. We couldn’t be happier with Loek, Jinelle & Premier International Tours. Our time in Trinidad was phenomenal! The excursions and local food stops were exciting every day. The clinic with the kids of Moruga and our historical visit to Lopinot on the last day were experiences of a lifetime. Playing at the Larry Gomes Stadium and competing against the T&T national team was a thrill my team will always remember. Chico State Women’s soccer thanks Premier International Tours for a flawless trip.
The tour included community service with the Macall Football Academy as well as many excursions such as Zip lining, a real Swamp Tour, visit of Maracas Beach including a Bake n' Shark lunch, a hike to the Waterfalls of Maracas, a trip to Down D’Islands and Gasparee Caves, a historical tour through the Lopinot Village and steel pan lessons with a local steel band.
The team won all 3 games including beating the T&T National Team with 2-1. This game took place in the National Larry Gomes Stadium.
