Illinois Wesleyan University traveled to Italy
The men’s soccer team from Illinois Wesleyan University traveled to Venice, Rome and Florence, Italy in march of 2016. During the tour the group visited major sights such as the Colosseum and Vatican in Rome, the city of Florence including the Ponte Vecchio, Pisa and its leaning Tower and, of course, the canals in Venice.
The team played 2 games vs. local teams and won 1 game and tied the other. A pro game visit was provided for the Titans as well - Lazio Roma vs. Atalanta. More information see the team blog CLICK HERE
Coach Kyle Schauls said after the tour “The European tour that Premier international tours provided for our group was more than just a team tour, it turned out into a family vacation. The tour was fantastic. We really had a great experience.”
